When Your Barbie Dreamhouse Has an Earthquake

When our perfectly planned lives don’t match our expectations, and real life disappoints and interrupts our plans, often our desire is to control and “perfect” gets in the way of the abundant life Jesus invites us into. I’ll share some of my story of God’s healing journey “remodeling my life” into one that has a lot less pretending and look at stories of women in the Bible and focus in on three modern idols we can exchange for three life-giving values that will help us live a life of freedom and authenticity.

Everyday Lovesongs: Reviving Your Soul, Returning Home.

Did you ever make someone a mixtape of love songs hoping that you could communicate your love to them? God loves us more than we can even begin to imagine—-and He wants us to know His love every day. If we truly understood the love God has for us—-we would know that God’s love has the power and authority to silence every shred of self-doubt, fear and isolation we might struggle with. The truth is, nothing we can ever do could make God love us more more less—-He already calls us His beloved. We’ll explore why we can know that God loves us, what distracts us from receiving that love, and how we should respond by loving others. Are you ready to turn up the volume and hear God tell you how loved you are?

Come to the Party: Your Invitation to Live a Deeper Life

Our identity can easily get tangled up in our to do lists and obligations—-finding our worth in value in what we do rather than who we already are. God’s love is so great, so big and his invitation to come and receive unconditional love and healing is one we need to be reminded to receive. Based on the story of the man by the side of the pool in Luke, we explore what it means to receive Jesus’ invitation into “life to the full”—-and how we can step into the free, wild, gift of the kingdom here and now.  Let’s celebrate together the greatest gift we’ve ever been given: God is near, with us, and loves us.

O Little Town of Empathy (Christmas Event)

God's great gift of empathy comes in a manger. God comes to earth as a human baby boy. The story is simple, one we've gotten used to hearing or telling---but it extends the most transformational beauty for all people who open the gifts given to them in Jesus. The gifts of God's understanding, nearness and invitation to fully live is one that comes with a question: will you receive God's great love and friendship?
